Located in the neighborhood Gondeau, this sugar-house called “The Jambette” until the early 19th century, was renamed “The Favorite” by one of his former owners.

For three generations, the family continues the tradition Dormoy. This distillery familly, craft and human scale is completely autonomous. Machines from 1920 and bagasse feeds both ovens.

The water impounded by a dam locks, one in Martinique and dating from 1842, is very important for the distillery fully functioning steam. It operates mills that crush the cane to extract the juice.
