For four centuries, at the foot of Mount Pelee, on the edge of the Bay of Saint-Pierre, is the Depaz plantation. Exceptional place where the sugar cane grows nicely with a tropical climate.

The plantation was replanted and rebuilt after the eruption of May 8, 1902 that totally destroyed the “Little Paris of the Antilles”, killing nearly 30,000 lives.

A self-guided tour of the site, you will discover the tourist circuit and its attractions (orientation table, waterwheel, steam museum, water turbine, etc.)..
